Since 1989, Law Courts Education Society (LCES) has been dedicated to improving access to the legal system through hands-on, two-way education between the public and those working in the justice system. Our educational programs and services are targeted to the general public, youth, persons with disabilities, First Nations and immigrant communities in British Columbia, throughout Canada and around the world. Programs are designed to help communities better understand how our justice system works and their role in it. At the same time, we seek to increase awareness among those working within the system of the barriers that certain groups face in accessing justice with a goal of improving access.

As a non-profit organization with ongoing public and private sector financial and volunteer support, LCES is able to offer a unique and comprehensive collection of justice related educational services and effectively work towards creating a justice system that is accessible to all.
